I’m excited to announce that my latest Pluralsight course – Working with Local Data in Xamarin.Forms is now available! Here at DevSquared, we’ve been using Xamarin.Forms for years to create great mobile experiences for our customers, and I wanted to share some of the knowledge that I’ve gained about how to create the highest quality mobile apps with Xamarin.Forms.
A little bit of background about the content – mobile apps that don’t leverage local data storage for caching and offline access often present a less polished experience to the end user. The course presents a variety of techniques to get started using local storage, including file storage, preferences, and SQLite. The overall goal of the course is to create a foundational knowledge of local data storage in Xamarin.Forms that will help someone as they move forward to high quality Xamarin.Forms app development.
I’m excited about this course, and look forward to contributing more Xamarin.Forms offerings on PluralSight in the future!
